Eine Legende feiert dieses Jahr ihr 30igstes Jubiläum: der erste Star Wars-Film startete in den Kinos dieser Welt. Die packende Filmmusik von John Williams erlangte ebenso wie die legendären Kinofilme Weltruhm. Sony Classical bringt anlässlich dieses Jubiläum eine hochwertige 8-CD-Edition des Soundtracks heraus.

Der vielfältige Inhalt dieser Edition ist nicht nur für langjährige Star Wars-Fans ein Muss, sondern eignet sich auch all jene, die sich zum ersten Mal mit der Geschichte von Star Wars beschäftigen wollen.

In dem CD-Set sind die erweiterten Versionen der Soundtracks von Episode IV bis VI enthalten, sowie die “Corellian Edition”, die erste Best-of Version des Soundtracks überhaupt. Ergänzt wird das Ganze durch ein Faltposter (40x40cm) mit Star Wars-Motiven und eine CD-ROM auf der die Original-Beileger der damaligen Star-Wars-LPs im pdf-Format entahlten sind, sowie Informationen zur Entstehungsgeschichte des Soundtracks und Sticker (10x10cm) der Originalcover der Star-Wars-LPs.

Insgesamt ist die Anniversary Collector’s Edition eine wahre “Schatzkiste” für alle Sammler und alle denen die mit Star-Wars Erinnerungen an ihre Jugend wieder aufleben lassen wollen !
